Safer Spaces Policy has been more prominantly located upon the website and can be seen here: http://occupyedinburgh.org/category/safer-spaces/
We have also agreed that a group of people can be contacted confidentially as advocates for anyone who feel the policy has been breached.Any grievances can then be aired by anyone (advocating or self-representing) at the start of each General Assembly so that the whole group can discuss and take action.Hopefully this will help to increase transparency and accountability and provide a safe and supportive platform on which any issues can be raised. There will also be the creation of a women’s working group to allow the women in our movement to speak together about any issues they may have and work on potential solutions together. There will be more information on this following tomorrows meeting (to which all are invited at 12 noon) regarding the working groups. In the meantime if you would like more information please talk to Lesley or Suzie.
